"The refurbishment of the Jack Silley Pavillion, was completed earlier this year and the new cafe extension, 'Julie’s at Stonards', officially opened its doors to the public on 10 May; a ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by Town Mayor Nigel Avey.
The refurbishment of the Jack Silley Pavillion, including the football changing rooms and new cafe extension, was made possible by a S106 financial contribution, released to Epping Town Council through the planning system from Epping Forest District Council. Thanks go to Paul Saggers Associates for his initial designs, concepts and support.
Proposals to refresh and expand the vandalised building regularly used by dog walkers, exercisers and scouts were submitted to Epping Forest District Council back in 2017. The pavilion upgrade cost £250,000 including a £7,000 award from the National Lottery earlier this year."

Just a line to let you know how we are getting on with the project at home we are well underway now and ground floor extension is now up.
The RSJ’s were fitted yesterday they seem to be very large but because you have hidden them in the ceiling they do not seem to be as imposing.
The two front dormers you suggested have been a great success, [we was looking at them from the street and a couple were walking pass and stopped to say how great they looked and how they looked in keeping with the rest of the house giving them a sense of balance] and with the vaulted ceilings and everybody who has seen them has said how great they look, by doing this the fifth bedroom you reconfigured is turning out to be an outstanding double bedroom en-suite.
The two new back dormers have not yet been formed yet but if they are half as good as the front we will be so very very pleased, we will have gained so much more liveable space making the garden lounge so much more pleasant to use, the master bedroom and dressing area plus the en-suite above this, is being formed over the next few days and is shaping up to be a fantastic area, this as you know is overlooking the garden.
We are so glad you suggested the extension was to be at the back of the house and not as we planned at the front of the house, we know you spent a lot of time working out the details and rejigging the plans a number of times as we got use to your ideas and added our small input.
I am not sure how many times you came to the house to let us view and discuss the plans but it is going to be so worth it and your time and genus has been invaluable to us
